General Assembly: A Milestone for Progress and Collaboration
On 28–29 July 2025, the RESTORE consortium came together in Bedford, UK, for a productive and insightful General Assembly hosted by CRA.
The hybrid meeting welcomed partners both in-person and online for two days of updates, technical discussions, and strategic alignment.
Key Highlights from the Meeting:
Comprehensive updates were presented by all Work Package (WP) leaders, with particular focus on:
• Progress in simulation models and toolpath integration (WP3).
• Upcoming LCA and digital product passport outputs (WP4).
• The kickoff of demonstration activities and ontology design (WP5).
• Communication and dissemination planning (WP6 & WP7).
• Administrative and financial reporting milestones were clarified, including the timeline for the next reporting submission and the
expectations for the upcoming Review Meeting scheduled for September 2025.
• A dedicated Risk Management Workshop allowed partners to collaboratively update the project risk log and align mitigation strategies.
• Planning began for the integration of RESTORE’s simulation tools into the digital platform, with discussions on user journey, business models,
and service delivery in the upcoming marketplace.
Looking Ahead to the next steps into RESTORE project:
•The next General Assembly is scheduled for February 2026 in Manchester, hosted by TVS. In the meantime, technical progress will continue across all WPs,
with surveys, validations, and stakeholder engagement activities scheduled for the coming months.
•RESTORE continues to demonstrate a strong commitment to collaborative innovation, driving sustainable and circular manufacturing forward through advanced
digital solutions.
